About the District

Marsh Harbour Community Development District encompasses 35.858 acres within the corporate limits of Riviera Beach, Florida. The District is composed of 402 units of multi-family town homes. The District was created in 2005 by the City by Ordinance No. 2992. The District is located on Congress Avenue, south of Blue Heron Boulevard.

The District is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors elected by electors residing within the District.  The District may impose and levy assessments on the property to pay off bonds issued for capital improvements.  All property owners within the District are subject to annual assessments which are broken down in two components:

  • The operation and maintenance (O&M) of the improvements
  • Debt service (annual principal & interest) on the capital improvement bonds

The District will utilize the Palm Beach County Tax Collector to collect these assessments each year.  The annual assessments appear in the non-ad valorem section of the property tax bill.  The fiscal year is October 1st – September 30th.
